An Insider’s Story – Financial Recruitment

Part of our growing Insider Stories, where professionals in all sorts of different jobs, share their advice and experience

I am an Accountancy and Finance Head Hunter operating at the senior level throughout Europe. In my experience, the best entry point into recruitment is to start at a large recruitment firm who have the infrastructure, time and resources to train and develop you in the right way.

Having gained this valuable experience recruiting at a more junior level, I would advise spreading your wings in a smaller and more specialist business where the challenges and rewards are much greater. I like that the advice and support I give to my clients is instrumental to the success of their businesses. Similarly, I am helping my candidates to achieve their professional ambitions.

Recruitment gives you a real insight into the business world, enables you to build long standing and mutually beneficial commercial relationships and keeps your finger on the pulse of the global economy.
